2. Hosting by STRATO
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically required data in server log files. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the requested file or page, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.
Processing is carried out to provide the website securely, stably and efficiently on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and uninterrupted operation of our online service. According to STRATO, IP addresses are stored for a maximum of seven days for the detection and prevention of attacks. Where required, processing by STRATO takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.
3. Contact by email / application as a tester
When you use the “Become a tester” button, the website only opens the email program configured on your device with a pre-filled message. The website itself does not store form data.
Once you send us an email, we process the data you provide, in particular your email address and any information you provide voluntarily, in order to respond to your request and, where applicable, assess participation in the KENDIVO beta test. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is handling enquiries and conducting the beta test. Where the communication is used to initiate or perform a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR is the legal basis.
The data is deleted once the purpose of the communication no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require further storage.
4. Cookies, tracking and analytics
The current KENDIVO marketing website does not itself use analytics or marketing cookies, tracking pixels or external analytics services. At present, the website also contains no social-media plugins. Technically necessary cookies from the hosting provider may be used where required to provide the hosting service.
5. Recipients of data
Personal data is disclosed only where necessary for the stated purposes, where required by law, or where you have given consent. Recipients may include processors used by us, such as hosting and email service providers.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have in particular the right of access under Article 15 GDPR, rectification under Article 16 GDPR, erasure under Article 17 GDPR, restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, data portability under Article 20 GDPR, and the right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR under Article 21 GDPR.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW) is the relevant authority.
7. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access. HTTPS/SSL is used to transmit this website.
